SABS 664 Ductile iron Gate Valve

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT :

• The wedge nut is made of dezincification-resistant brass and is designed as a fixed component of the wedge to prevent vibration and ensure durability.

• Wedges and wedge nuts are fully vulcanised with potable water approved EPDM rubber

• Stainless steel stem with wedge stop and rolled threads for strength

• Full-round thrust collar provides secure stem alignment and ensures low operating torque

• Triple safety stem seals with an outermost dust ring to protect against external contamination, four o-rings around the radial bearing in the centre, and an innermost lip seal that acts as a primary seal against system pressure

• countersunk stainless steel A2 bonnet bolts with hot-melt adhesive seals and surrounded by bonnet gaskets for maximum corrosion protection

• Full bore

• 250µm blue RAL 5017 epoxy coated to SANS 664
